New Managing Director and Successful Audit at Vfw
RLG is pleased to announce that Michael Heising has been appointed Managing Director of Vfw GmbH.
In this position, he will be responsible for the company in addition to Mr Helmerking and Mr Winter with immediate effect. Michael Heising has a solid wealth of experience in the area of environmental management. He has already been managing the Sales division in his position as Director of Group Development at RLG since April this year and since recently the Procurement division of Vfw.
"In the course of restructuring Vfw, a further step has now been taken in order to reflect the modified requirements following the 5th amendment of the Packaging Ordinance and to design reverse logistics systems in the interests of the customers," explained Achim Winter, Managing Director of RLG.
Vfw has also recently completed its second monitoring audit successfully. The requirements for RLG Matrix certification were already incorporated into this audit. The documents are available to the employees of Vfw via a new document management system, which ensures that the information is always up to date for users. Furthermore, the release process for new documents has also already been integrated.
Once RLG and CCR have successfully completed the audit in November, Vfw can slide under the umbrella of RLG also from the point of view of quality management. Michael Heising was also appointed Quality and Environmental Management Officer for the entire group. "The synergies in the group are continuously growing at a rapid pace. I am therefore very pleased that I can now make a decisive contribution towards this as Managing Director of Vfw," commented Michael Heising shortly after his appointment.
